Bibblez

After having Elliot, I decided to take a year off of work so I could spend as much time with him as possible - so I decided I would take the full 12 months’ maternity with the last 3 months unpaid!

Whilst on maternity I decided to start 'Bibblez'. The main reason behind this was that Elliot cut his first 2 bottom teeth the day he turned 3 months old! We tried various bibs and brands, but was still having to change his bib so many times in the day.  So I decided to make some.  I also liked the fact that I could chose some funky material, patterns and designs that you definitely can't buy from shops.  I backed them with thick polar fleece to make them super absorbent - and it worked!! Elliot looked super cool and was dry!

Then, people started asking me if I could make their little one some, so I did and then their friends asked, so I thought I’d give it a go and see if people I didn’t know and had no connection with wanted them too! Started a Facebook page and it went mad!  After just 8 weeks we had 2k people following us!

We then started making matching things such as taggies, dummy clips, muslins, sucky pads and more and that, is pretty much 'Our Story'!
